Otherworldly

The latest release from Dutchie-creator Froukje Hoorenbeek is one of her most luxurious-looking creations. The leather of the tub chair looks deliciously touchable and it includes eight rich, gorgeous shades. I opted for placing the chair in the corner of a private library, making it a pleasure room in more than one sense. As you might surmise from this, this is the adult version of the chair which features 100 maledom-oriented couple animations, some with auto-attaching props and some with automatic tilting for Aeros and the Physics Cock. 

I’ve tried to give a sense of the flavour of the chair through eight images that feature a selection of the animations from across several of the different menus. There’s so much more to this chair than “just” the sex, with animations capturing both tenderness and dominance.

For these photos, I am wearing the new Aqua hair from Wasabi, which includes an optional hat that I have not included here. The underbust corset from Salt & Pepper offered just the right amount of naughtiness, further emphasized by the Sweet Talk stockings from Luxuria. And Ran is looking stylish in Deadwool, always a good choice for a classy look.

Even though it may seem hard to believe, there are still things other than the Fantasy Faire going on in Second Life. La vie en pose, for example, is still open until April 30th and I just had to do something fun with the Roman Bath Temple from Moonlite Backdrops & Poses and Faustino. This build rezzes out complete with all the props and the pose menu easily moves you around between different spots. I’ve selected three different ones to show just some of the many couple poses available to play with. As you can see, some of them also include auto-attaching props.

Both Ran and I are wearing gorgeous outfits from Salt & Pepper, from the Scheherazade and Golden Slave set and we’re using the two new hairs from Wasabi for the Fantasy Faire. If you want to donate to RFL with your purchase of these hairs, the Solar pack for each style is set as a donation item.

In my last post, I did a tour of Hope 9, one of the Home & Garden Expo sims. I teased the upcoming releases from Teegle and gave you a look at the other creators on the sim, such as RVi Design. Now the time has come for a closer look at the Horse Ranch Homestead from the latter as well as the Teeglepet Fjord Horse and Teeglepet Connemara Pony.

Sassy Sweet Poses has a nifty set of very saucy poses out at La vie en pose. Behind the Door includes five poses (with mirrors) in a pose stand or in a door prop (and the door prop comes as a stand-alone, with a white wall or with a black wall). While some of the poses look their best using the included props (because those feature a half-open door), I found that using the stand to fit the poses to an existing door also worked very well. Here I am using the door into the bedroom on Dutchie’s New Amsterdam houseboat. I am also using the Photo Pro HUD and attachment to provide some extra light from the side and from within the room.

A new round of La vie en pose is opening tomorrow, on the 10th of January. This is the “naughty” edition, so expect some sexy poses and props. Like this sinfully red motel room backdrop from Lacrime dell’anima and the sultry “Welcome Back” poses by Nya.Gore. To go with it, I picked up the latest release from Salt & Pepper. The light setup (including the EEP setting) is handled via the PhotoPro attachment and HUD. Now that I have started using EEP I will definitely be setting up some more EEP & light combinations to have on hand.

In just a few days, Dutchie is releasing this great-looking wooden pool table with a choice of five colours for the felt on top. I had the opportunity to take an early look at it to film a short video of the PG version and of course I had to take some photos as well. For that, however, I used the Adult version, which adds several menus of adult animations to the playing, socializing and romancing options in the PG version. Still, the images included are fairly clothed, except for some hints of nipple courtesy of the sexy Izzy robe from Salt & Pepper and some partially obscured naughtiness. There’s definitely much more to be discovered on those menus. ;)

I used a new skybox from Del-ka Aedilis called Christmas in NYC to setup the scene in. Del-ka Aedilis primarily creates builds inspired by various historical eras so this one is a bit of a departure, though a very nice one! Its sleek, modern and spacious and the snowfall outside the windows together with the fireplace makes it feel very cosy.

I also have to highlight the hairpiece & hairbase from EMO-tions. I love these kinds of hairs, they look both fabulous and realistic. Oh, and the fabulous group gift skin from Clef the Peau, here worn on the lovely Lilly, the gift head from LeLutka.

Another piece from the Bound Box that really caught my fancy was the Alpha hair from Analog Dog. While rigged mesh has allowed long hairs to work in a lot of positions, there are always exceptions. And if you want to have a bit of flex mixed in with the mesh for softness and movement, you most definitely need a special hair just for that position. In this case, on all fours. The hair actually comes with a couple poseball as well, but here I am using a lingerie pose from Boudoir Rouge. Also featured is the newest lingerie set from Salt & Pepper and a romantic tattoo from Fallen Gods.

Well, I had something a lot longer written, but my browser crashed. So, this will have to be short and sweet instead. I am wearing the Rose lingerie from Luxuria for the Gacha Guardians event, paired with a pair of heels from Salt & Pepper from the same event. Gacha Guardians is an in-store gacha event where you fill out a HUD to get access to a prize room where you can claim Gifts of the Guardians if you have played a machine enough. Luxuria offers matching a matching body suit in four colours as their gift. The black set with garters and stockings that I am wearing is the rare of the regular lingerie.

A couple of days ago, I went through the Gacha Guardians event. This is a mainstore gacha event where you pick up a HUD, touch a runestone at a participating store and then click the HUD to get a teleport to a random store from the list. It takes a bit longer than just camming through the vendors at a single-location event, but I do think you give a bit more consideration to gachas that look potentially interesting (and if it comes from a store you don’t recognize, you might also take a moment to browse a bit before going on). Once you have filled up the HUD you can access a special location where you can redeem any keys you have earned by playing any given machine ten times for special Gifts of the Guardians which are exclusive to the event and retired afterwards.
